Plots

A new year, a new book. That’s the plan. The trouble is that the book I’m writing at the moment is refusing to behave itself. I thought that after the festive season was over I’d return to it full of new ideas. Not so! I’ve tossed so many thoughts around in my head that I’m beginning to think I need to start again. Except that I couldn’t bear to do that. I couldn’t waste all those thousands of words. All I need to do is settle down and think calmly! Plan and plot. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?
You see I never plot a whole book out. I start with an idea and simply go for it. And it always works. So why isn’t it this time?
Are you a plotter or a panster? I’d love to know.
