So much for my New Year resolution to blog three times a week. Where does the time go?
I seem to have been busy doing nothing. My daughter’s doing a family history so I’ve been delving into my memory (backed up by various records and phone calls) All time consuming stuff. I managed to finish a chapter but now the weekend looms and we have our eldest grandson coming to stay. We’re taking him to see War Horse at the cinema – not sure whether it’s my type of film but the men will enjoy it. In contrast we’re also going to see my friend’s granddaughter in an amateur production of Cinderella. I think I shall enjoy that much more.

I’m much more Cinderella than War Horse too. Does War Horse has a happy ending? I wasn’t sure when I saw the trailer. I like my movies to have a happy ending
I hope you have a great weekend!
Lacey, yes, War Horse does have a happy ending – fortunately. It was very sad in parts but very, very cleverly filmed. Definitely worth watching. I was enthralled all the way through.
Annoyingly, a couple of rows in front of us, were three teenage girls playing with their cell phones all the way through it, ignoring two announcements for everyone to switch them off. Goodness knows why they came in to watch the film.
