Manic Monday

Monday – a day of catching up on things after the weekend. My desk is littered with papers – Correspondence that needs attending to. Notes I’ve made to myself over the weekend. I tend to think of snippets of conversation for my book – it might be something towards the end even – but I scribble them down as they come to me and pop them on my desk. Sometimes I use them, sometimes I don’t. But it does prove one thing – that the book I’m writing is never out of my mind, even subconsciously.
Now – before I begin work for the day I need to make phone calls, write a couple of birthday cards – in fact I have to make them first. I have an excellent card programme on my computer and always make my own cards – some from stock images, some from my own paintings. I can see it getting towards lunchtime before I even begin work.
Does anyone else have manic Mondays?

I was up until 3:45 this morning finishing up the editing of an author’s book. (I am a self-employed typist, but I get editing jobs too.)
I was intrigued to read how you make birthday cards. I do too. You use photos from your own paintings; I write my own poetry! If we only lived closer, LOL!
Well … speaking of manic Mondays … I’d better go. I have a dentist appointment in less than an hour for a much-needed filling. Whee haw.
