Margaret Mayo, Romance Author

I was sorting through a drawer the other day and came across a tiny dictionary that I had forgotten all about. It measures just over two inches by three inches and has a black simulated leather cover. It was published in 1964. What I found most interesting was the gold lettering on the front:

If your spelling’s weak
The meaning dim
Make no mistake
But Look Within

Cute, eh?

Not only is it a dictionary but it has all sorts of information at the back and also advertises all of Shakespeare’s works in the same ‘Midget’ series.

I have lots of dictionaries and thesauri (had to look the spelling up for this one) but this is by far the most appealing of all.
